Find your place in the Forum
Membership is open to Zimbabweans in Zimbabwe and throughout the diaspora. Applications are made in writing and approved by the Board of Directors.
Ordinary Member
+ $1 joining fee in Zimbabwe · $5 in the diaspora
- Eligibility: Zimbabwean citizens aged 18 or above, in Zimbabwe or the diaspora
- Rights: full participation, including voting, subject to membership criteria and dues
- Responsibilities: attend meetings, pay dues, contribute time and effort, uphold the constitution and code of conduct
Associate Member
Significant contributions to the Forum
- Eligibility: individuals or entities contributing $1,000 or more
- Rights: Zimbabwean citizens enjoy full participation and voting rights
- Responsibilities: support the Forum's aims, comply with its provisions and stay in good standing
Nominee Member
Nominated by an existing member
- Eligibility: individuals nominated by existing members, including under-18s supervised by a legal guardian
- Rights: full participation, without voting rights
- Minors: may take part in non-political activities such as learning and simulation
What membership involves
Application
A written application, approved by the Board of Directors.
Fees
$1 non-refundable joining fee in Zimbabwe, $5 in the diaspora, and a $1 monthly subscription for everyone, reviewed quarterly.
Commitment
Take an active part, attend meetings (especially the AGM) and contribute to activities. Missing meetings without notice or a valid reason may cost privileges.
Conduct
Respect confidentiality, uphold the code of conduct and keep relations within the Forum respectful.
Termination & removal
Voluntary resignation
Three months' written notice to the Secretary.
Automatic termination
Death, incapacity, dues unpaid for more than a quarter, or no longer meeting membership criteria.
Expulsion
By special resolution (two-thirds majority), following due process and the right to be heard.
